A fun after-work sail on very flat water for a change. Nicely powered up on a 5.4 making it very very easy to scream upwind. Used the conditions for a good gybe-practise session rather than just blasting in and out, and made a bit of progress (*still* can't suss proper planing exits, but I'm starting to unlearn some bad habits at least).

By the time I came in the tide had gone right out, and I remembered why you really need to wear boots at Mersea - I've now got very sore feet from all the sharp mussels & shells, and it was a bit grim wading through all the mud with bare feel too!
